| Introduction | In the 80s, my family found many needy children but could not help because of lack of funds. The only thing we could do was to pray that God would provide food and clothing for them. When this burden became too heavy in our family, we decided to invite the children (orphans and destitute children) to come eat and share with us the small meal least once a month. In this way God began to bless our hearts. It was not until 1990, when two orphans started living with our family. This kind of ministry slowly grew and today we have at least 20 children. There has been an unbelievable increase in the number of orphans in our area because of HIV and AIDS. We are looking forward to welcoming more Orphans. Those that we are helping, go to school at Chafisi Baptist Academy, and also in our home. My mother takes care of them by cooking and cleaning their clothes.We have a building where the boys will reside and we are looking forward to building a girls' but for know the girls will be living at my home |
