IntroductionI am a wife and mother of 3 wonderful children. My husband, Chuck, works during the day for Pepsi. Our son, Cameron, is in third grade and our two beautiful identical twin daughters, Brooklyn and Skylar, were born September 2008. Up until they were born I worked in Property Management for 6 years. I enjoyed being a property manager, but always knew my love of photography and genuine appreciation for people would take me in a very different direction. While I was pregnant with the twins, I realized I was looking at an invaluable opportunity to pursue my dream full time. I am passionate about my work as a photographer and consider it a priviledge and an honor to capture moments in people's lives in a way that tells their story...shows the essence of where they are in their journey. Whether it is the expression on a childs face that only the mother truly understands or the emotional look shared between a bride and her father just before he leads her down the aisle to be married, the moment is fleeting and so very special. I am so blessed that my passion for photography allows me to share in those moments.
InterestsPhotography, music/singing,scrapbooking, traveling, reading
Favorite moviesHitch, The Notebook, Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken, Seven Pounds, Almost all of the Disney or Pixar movies (I have kids!) My Big Fat Greek Wedding, pretty much anything Adam Sandler has done, Fireproof (totally awesome movie!), and too many more to list.
Favorite musicA little bit of everything! Music has been my life since I was very young. I love to sing and am honored to serve on the worship team at our church, Destiny Christian Center. I majored in vocal performance at the University of Mobile and when I'm not photographing a wedding, I am often behind the microphone singing in it. Obviously it would be difficult to do both! lol My favorite artists are too numerous to list but James Taylor and Adele are my top two faves followed by several including Sarah McLachlin, Norah Jones, Caedmon's Call, Steven Curtis Chapman, Jennifer Knapp, Etc.
Favorite booksThe Notebook, Where the Red Fern Grows, anything by John Grisham, The Five Love Languages, This Present Darkness and Monster by Frank Peretti, Experiencing God, and the Twilight Series (I know I know but it's a really easy read!)

Lionesses have no manes. How do they know when they've grown up?

When the instinct to provide for and protect her young overpowers every other instinct that exists within her.
