Introduction	I was born three weeks early during an 80's heatwave and have not slowed down or cooled off since. After Catholic high school and classes at John Herron School of Art, I attended Indiana University Bloomington leaving after one year to attend art school in Sarasota, Florida. The beach culture challenged and expanded my pragmatic midwestern work ethic to embrace conceptual and process-based strategies in painting. Painting has become a daily practice that coincidentally both my grandmothers partook in before my time. I again reside in Middle America, currently calling KCMO home.
