| Introduction | I'm husband to Pam, for 29 years now. Parents to two adult children and three grandsons. Been active my entire life, always enjoying "human powered" activities, as opposed to my brother who loves anything with a motor! I've competed in a number of marathons, two Ironman, one 100 mile and several 50 mile ultra marathons and countless shorter running and triathlon races. I'm passionate about my faith in Jesus, am thankful for my strengths and am aware of my many weaknesses (I love cookies). Nothing I've done could have been accomplished, or meant much, without the support of my wife and friends. Much of the strength I've gained and lessons I've learned through the physical challenges have served to prepare me to stand up under life's trials. And it is this idea motivates me to share my thoughts and experiences. Together I believe we can move mountains! |
