| Introduction | I am STILL learning, trying to figure it all out...or maybe just trying to figure a few things out. I hardly know the essential QUESTIONS of life, let alone very many of life's real ANSWERS. Maybe, I am dumb about this but I am also convinced that if most people think are pretty much the same way. I have figured out a VERY few things though and these are: (1) Women and men are sure as hell 'wired' differently; (2)you should do what you love; (3) the field goal should be outlawed in American football, as well as (4) the designated hitter in baseball; (5)the belly putter in golf and that (6) in golf, you should try to swing the club as opposed to trying to hit the ball; and lastly (6) humankind is probably not alone in the universe but it is extremely unlikely (with the possible exception of Tiger Woods), that the Earth has ever been visited by extraterrestials. The physical distances between us and other inhabitants of the universe are immense ...almost beyond comprehension by mortals ...and just too great to be overcome by mere physics. (Of course, I could be wrong about all of the above ...except for the one about men and women being wired differently.) |
