Introduction	I am a teacher by trade who is fortunate enough to be a stay-at-home mom ♥ I married my best-friend, Dan, in June 2006. I have a beautiful daughter, Alexa Rose, born in October 2008, and a friendly dog, Chloe. The three of them keep me super busy, and I am constantly learning new tricks, new frustrations, and best of all, new joys! I love to read, cook, bake, shop, and take pictures (I also like to edit, print, & put pictures in albums). My favorite weather is 70° and sunny – there is something to be said about the awesomeness of flip flops and tank tops. I love to spend time with my parents & siblings and wish they didn’t live so far away. Hopefully one day soon, we’ll move closer to “home.”

Favorite books	The Harry Potter series, The Chronicles of Narnia books, The Da Vinci Code, any books by Nicholas Sparks John Grisham or Agatha Christie, and I'm getting hooked on teen-vamp books (Twilight series and House of Night series)
