| Introduction | Hi there! I am Sarah, the face behind Rank Photography. I have been behind the camera for 11 years, and became interested in photography when I was in college. I studied photography at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, earning my Bachelor of Art degree in 2002, with a minor in photography. I learned on a film SLR before going digital in 2004. When I'm not working in HR during the week or out on photo shoots, I enjoy spending time with my family: husband, Rob, a stay-at-home father/gardener; 3 children: Andrew (4.5), Elise (2), and Jameson (8 months). My favorite thing about photography is when the light paints the subject in such a way that it almost has a magical glow to it. I do natural light photography, capturing real moments on location. |
