Introduction	I'm Diane, a writer living in a 1939 Sears Kit house (Hammond model) with my husband, Doug; our orange tabby cat, Paxton; and our yellow Lab, Jodie. We live in a college town, and we love to spend our weekends going to junk shops, thrift stores, and antique barns. Our most recent--and ambitious--project is renovating a 60-year-old modified single-wide mobile home in Kitts Hummock, which is on the Delaware Bay near Dover Air Force Base. I love the beach, and I'm a very active person who enjoys biking, walking, swimming, and hiking. I also like to sew--I have made dozens of quilts out of T-shirts, old jeans, and other recycled materials. I have two adult children, Alex and Christine.
