| Introduction | I have been crazy about books and reading since I first experienced the power of great stories, and this passion inspired my choice of career. I taught secondary English for 29 years, spending every day talking about amazing books. Just over a year ago, I realized that I needed a fresh challenge, but I couldn't leave books behind. Becoming the librarian at Heritage Park Secondary was perfect: I love the search for the next terrific story and the long, enthusiastic book chats with students at the front counter. Lucky me! |
