About me

Introduction	Toby Stubbs was born in Comox, BC but grew up on the culinary mecca of Saltspring Island. Cooking was learned by sitting at the kitchen table and listening to his parents, owners of the famed Bectoncroft B&B, pass on their knowledge and passion. A trip to cookery school in Europe in early 2009 was the completion of a life goal and shortly after returning he published his first (of hopefully many) cookbooks, Inspiration from Ireland. Currently he resides in Victoria BC, wishing he had a bigger kitchen and constantly on the look out for farmer's markets and local produce.
