| Interests | Hannah Bishop's work has a preoccupation with her own personal experiences, as well as drawing in historical and theoretical issues, giving the work a wider context and interest to the viewer. Much of the focus of her work has been the role she plays as an artist and this title's placement within contemporary society, as well as the practice's relation to the everyday. More recently I've focused upon this everyday aspect, and in relation to my dissertation I am asking how art can become closer to the everyday, how art and life can become the one entity I see them to be. Related areas include, public art, pop up space, community art, sound art, installation, experiential art, drawing, social engaged art. |
