Introduction	Early 30s. My fabulous years, my prime, it won't get any better than this. Yet...I find myself spiraling downward. I have become that bitter New Yorker: pessimistic, snarky, bitchy. No Dankes! is a phrase I came up with--now a blog--where I like to come and let off steam, restore equilibrium, return to homeostasis. The phrase comes from the German word 'danke', meaning thanks--but in this case, it's more like NO thanks. Because if I didn't have this outlet to complaincomplaincomplain, poor innocent tourists might feel my wrath--like, physically. I might just push someone.
