| Introduction | I am a Southern California kid that loves nothing more than to spend a sunny day surfing with my wife Catherine and enjoying what God has made. I moved to the East Coast in Dec of 2003 while working with Walking On Water on their surf film Noah’s Arc. I enjoyed the laid back island lifestyle of Wrightsville Beach (Catherine’s home town) so much that we decided to stay. When I’m not mowing foam you can usually find me riding my 1962 Schwinn around the beach checking the surf or visiting with friends. Unless I am catching a flight I usually do not leave the island. I enjoy sharing waves all over the planet with old friends (Jennings, Jeremy, Hamlin, Benson, Skip, Hines, Hagan, Timmy, Christian, Nate, Bobcat, Jaime) and new friends (Jorge in Panama, Seoni in Tonga, Flaco Jr. in Peru) and I thank all of those who have made it possible for me to do so. I try to live by the advice of a dear friend Skip Frye who told me one day when I was having a hard time. “Don’t worry about tomorrow. It will take care of itself. Enjoy what God has given you today surfing with your friends.” So I say the same thing to you. |
