About me

Introduction	I was born in 1964 and grew up in a small South African town. Most people my age were blissfully unaware of the South African political situation in the 70's. This blog hopes to capture that innocence and prod some memories of that era as well as serve as a record of ordinary things of those days. I was inspired by Denis Hirson's fabulous book "I remember...King Kong (the boxer)" and admit to pinching the style his book was written in.
