| Introduction | I am an almost 50-year-old (yikes!) Christian, Southern girl, mother of a 16-year-old daughter, wife, stay-at-home rock star, sister, aunt, daughter, listener extraordinaire and volunteer who is constantly trying to figure out Who I Am. I have a wonderful husband, also Southern born and Southern bred, who is my provider, protector, best friend, confidante and constant source of reason and entertainment. He keeps chivalry alive and I love him for that! He is the most doting Daddy ever to his best, most important accomplishment, our daughter, whom he dubbed Little Precious soon after she was born. He is best friend to our 7-year-old Shih Tzu, Ming. We live in NC in a small town which neighbors the small town where I was born and raised. I feel lucky to still live "where I come from". I am a budding writer. I like writing about my life and the "everyday things" or whatever crosses my mind when I sit down in front of the computer. Oftentimes in real life I'm pretty funny. Sometimes I'm sad or scared or stressed. Most of the time I'm generally happy and always easy going. I am trying to hone my skill of translating all of that into words. |
