| Introduction | As one of the many forgotten victims, I set out to highlight the fact that this sacred, restricted, and heavily guarded institution we call marriage in our American culture has fallen victim to generations of maligned curators. Hopefully these blog entries will expose the politically skewed organizations, that in the name of "protecting the sanctity of marriage," have ignored the hypocrisies in the American culture that contribute to bastardizing the very institution they purport to defend. The American institution of marriage practiced as a result of solemn vows stated between untold men and women before God have been defended in a way that it protects all the RIGHTS of marriage (fiscal and custodial) yet trivially demands the inherent RESPONSIBILITIES (protecting children of divorce and the solemn vows before God) of marriage. Where are the defenders of the RESPONSIBILITIES of the solemn promise of marriage? They're nowhere to be found. |
