| Introduction | I am a writer born and raised in South Louisiana. I haven't really lived in a lot of places or travelled the world. But I've met a lot of different people because I thrive on eclectic interactions with folks of different backgrounds and cuisines. Basically, I meet people to see what they literally bring to the table. But then I find these interesting things about people, and because I'm socially lazy, I don't judge them. Then when I don't judge them, that makes it easier to get to know them, and I like that shit. My family is large and close-knit and sometimes loud as hell. I'm married with two dogs and two fantastic stepsons. One of the dogs smells funny. Both sons smell fine. Otherwise, I co-own a business and play in a band and have some awesome friends that I do other stuff with like sit around fires and drink. Stuff like that. There's more, but I'm not great at organizing my thoughts, so I will just surprise you randomly throughout my blog. It will be like bacon bits in a salad. But you've got to eat the whole salad to find the bacon, really. |
| Interests | Music, Cooking, Wine, People, Literature, pretty much everything unless I find it uninteresting. |
| Favorite movies | Do I hafta? Anything hilarious, and once a month I like something horrifically sad. I like good action movies, as well as vampire porn and any kind of trash Showtime sees fit to spray on my television screen. |
| Favorite music | Everything. I'm not kidding. I don't like anything computer-generated or uncomfortably growly and all darkly demonic-sounding, but that's it. Well, progressive jazz kind of gives me the heebs, but that's only because symmetry is usually important, and there is nothing like symmetry in that "music". |
| Favorite books | I still love, "Where the Red Fern Grows." I also like Sophie Kinsella's shit and books about how awesome dogs are. I read a lot, but I just can't think of the last yarn, and I'm not going to publicly declare I liked the "50 Shades" series. Oops. |
