IntroductionI am a liberal (in some things), religious (in others), conservative (in some of my views and ideas/practices), fruitcake. Often predictable, but I feel I am somewhat flexible, but somehow not easily controlled either... somewhat a rebel, maybe, a maverick, to some, to other's maybe a nut... (I typically try to love all people and I try to honor the soul God has put in each of us). I try to Love God first, but since I don't really know what that all means, I basically just try to love myself as much as I can, so I can love others with as much love as I can... which I guess isn't saying a lot really, but then, you try it and see how easy, or not, it is. ;-) I believe my true treasures, which are my family and relationships, some of which are already in Heaven. I try to store those treasures in my heart and I am sometimes anxious to be in Heaven with my Dad, any friends, with God and Jesus and all the saints. Strangely, for some, I guess, I look forward to His judgement, because it is by His Rod and Staff that I find comfort and true security. I know I am unworthy of salvation but I desperately need it! Don't we all?

Favorite moviesI "like" Europa, Europa and for a lighter side, I liked Old Yeller and The Sound of Music. All Quiet on the Western Front was amazing and I cried through most of it. I was attracted strongly to Lawrence of Arabia, and loved the first Star Wars. Brokeback Mountain, almost broke me, I was a fountain of tears, by the end, it was so nostalgia inducing for me... his shirt, the mountain beyond, in the closing scene, from his trailer... I just about lost it there... I tolerate Harry Potter but loved the Half Blood Prince... I enjoyed the Lord of the Rings, considerably. I liked the Wrath of Khan and the latest Star Trek, but despised most of the other movies in that series... I loved the TV series though... I typically do not like Steven Spielberg movies for some reason, they seem to stylized or over done to me... but I did love JAWS...but I was 12? I think, when I saw it... I like the one of the small boy in Europe who fell in love with the Canadian Soldier boy, but I can't remember it now... I like most documentaries, if they have something to document... and I like the Chinese flying stunt movies... I liked the gay movie where the father falls for his college aged son's boyfriend, who happens to be gay... go figure... I loved almost anything Heath Ledger did. I can barely stand to watch Tom Cruise, Eddie Murphy, Mel Gibson, and several others sadly... I am hyper critical... I like pretty much whatever Merrill Streep does and I like the lady who played the Queen recently, ummm.. Mirren, I believe, ya! I love Helen Mirren, I believe that is her name! Oh, I absolutely loved Gregory Peck and cast in to Kill a Mockingbird. How could I forget this???
Favorite musicJazz, New Age, some Gospel/Reggae, anything Bob Dylan does, most PP&M (Peter, Paul and Mary), some one hit wonders, Piano, Guitar Acoustic or Classical, and some symphonies... Oddly, I don't like most operas or broadway tunes/shows... I guess I really am a hypocrite, even though I never said I was not one.
Favorite booksAnything attributed to Jesus in the Bible, Solomon, King David, CS Lewis, JRR Tolkien, To Kill a Mockingbird...Essays of Plato, Socrates, Aristotle, Galileo, Sir Issac Newton, Einstein, and I love most, if not all, physicists, no matter what field they are in... I see everything coming out of physics, in my crazy, ADD'd addled world...
