Introduction | I showed horses from the time I was 11 years old until I had to grow up and get a real job. Shortly after leaving Michigan and getting settled in North Carolina while serving in the Marine Corps, I bought Lilly as a weanling and have enjoyed having a horse with me again. We've experienced a lot of ups and downs since then, from ligament tears, to abscesses, to saddle troubles, and now to our newest adventure - getting rid of steel shoes and going barefoot. Through it all, one thing has never changed... Lilly is my greatest teacher and my heart horse. |
