| Introduction | I'm a small-town girl from Canada, but my parents joined a mission organization when I was 3, and began a whirlwind of international travel that has shaped my worldview a little differently. I have had fibromyalgia since I was 8, and the laundry list of other problems that comes with it. A bad reaction to a medication left me with no flora in my intestines, so I had to learn in a hurry how to cook tasty food without gluten or dairy. My wonderful, easygoing Californian husband has been a good sport about it all, and he's my sunshine when my days are dark. Welcome to my world! |

When you hesitate before hitting snooze on your alarm clock, are you being lazy?
Absolutely not; you're simply weighing your options and prioritizing them. Do I get up? That involves wearing clothing. Meh...put that off a little longer. However, if you smell coffee, it means that someone loves you, and it is therefore worth exiting the snuggly warmth of safety to sally forth and greet the day, and whoever made the coffee, with a hug.
