Introduction	I'm just your every day average ordinary first generation S.Asian-American who crossed the pacific many times, frolicked in the Silicon Valley as a child, walked the hallowed/pretentious college grounds of New England and is now Teaching (for America!) in the Midwest. I like bright colors, wholesome nerdiness, and sunlight. That probably explains why I live in the tundra that is Chicago in the fall/winter/spring. What? When I was little(er) I hated chocolate, microwaved my icecream and ate so many lemons my front teeth eroded a bit. Now that I'm (slightly) less little I hate bananas, microwave my cold-pressed coffee and eat so many desserts I get cavities. If you've never met me and you're trying to pronounce my name, you're probably wrong. There's a sneaky J hidden in there. Like Clarissa Dalloway, I get the flowers (and fruits and vegetables) myself. Sometimes from the farmers market at my doorstep.
