| Introduction | I am an Irish "mammy" to 3 beautiful energetic children all under 5 years old age. Our 10 month old baby has allergies to milk, soya, egg white, tree nuts, apple, apricots, pear, carrots and red meat. I am a very proud "St. Marys" nurse whose background is Vascular Surgery. At the moment I am a stay at home mum. My true passion is the art of nursing. I love health promotion, empowerment, autonomy and being an advocate. I would like to heighten allergy awareness, support mums/dads, empower parents to question, have informative educated conversations with health professional. As a matron I spent years advocating the hand washing campaign. Here I am, checking, reminding and scoulding slightly smaller people but mentally similiar persons to wash their hands.:-)) I hope to support and advise people this is not a forum for medical diagnosis. |
