| Introduction | I grew up in Essex, England and was blessed with a father who was a keen amateur historian. Although it took me years to appreciate it, he gave me a real appreciation for history that has remained with me throughout my life. When I was twenty I emigrated to Canada where I met my wife, Jenny, who comes from Suffolk. We settled in Toronto where we lived for over thirty years. We have two married children, our daughter Jackie in the UK and our son Alan in Australia. Although a graphic designer by profession I drifted, almost by accident into becoming an author and currently have two more novels planned. |
