Which do you prefer and why: whittling with soap or whistling with wood?
Both have their great benifits. The soap is easier to carve, making it less difficult overall. However, the soap can be easily broken. It's a brittle medium that has to have special care applied for it to come out successful. Wood on the otherhand, is a bit more strenuous to work with, but it's a lot stronger than soap, and can withstand a lot more. I'd go with wood.
