Occupation | Musical Theatre Tutor |

Introduction | I graduated from Laine Theatre Arts in 2010 with a diploma in Professional Musical Theatre. Upon graduating I worked for QDOS Productions onboard Celebrity Cruises as a Singer/Dancer. I have always had a love for teaching and taught for various schools in between performing contracts. I started this degree in 2011 and here we are now in 2014!!! The reason for the large gap is that a lot has happened during this time. In 2012 I got married and began a part time teaching degree alongside this degree. It soon became apparent that something would have to give, hence why I decided to interrupt my BAPP studies. I am now a qualified teacher and I work full time at Blackpool Sixth Form teaching BTEC Musical Theatre and Performing Arts. My chosen inquiry title is "What is the best way to prepare someone for full time professional training in Musical Theatre/Dance?" and I truly feel that this is more relevant now than ever!! I look forward to connecting with you all and learning all about your inquiries. |
