| Introduction | I am a 29 year old Belmont University graduate with high dreams and expectations that have become hindered from the steep financial obligations to student loan repayment. --- I have created this blog as an outlet for myself as well as a public platform to raise awareness. There are so many people who are searching for a way to pay off enormous student loan debt. When faced with high, daily compounding interest rates, and private student loan consolidation being near impossible to get, you can start to feel like there is no feasible way to ever repay them. My hope and vision for this blog is that it creates a community for people to understand that they are not the only ones who feel completely overwhelmed in the face of their student loan debt. --- Although everyone approaches their repayment in different ways, I have found the best method for myself is Dave Ramsey's Snowball Theory. This theory is applied during baby step number 2 within Dave's 7 steps; follow along with me as I post about navigating my way through step 2 - aka, paying these suckers off! |
