| Introduction | I was born in Jefferson City and attended grade school at IC just across town. I graduated from Helias High School and went on to marry my high school sweet heart, Jim Lauf. We have been married for 34 years. We have two children, Jonathan and Elizabeth. I have three grandchildren. All of them attend St Peter School. I graduated from Lincoln University with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education with a minor in music. I received my master's degree from Lincoln in school administration. First I taught fifth grade at St Stanislaus in Wardsville. Then, I taught music and was the assistant principal at IC. Here at St Peter I have spent time teaching in the Vogelweid Learning Center, kindergarten and now first grade. |
| Interests | I love to flower garden. That has led me to coordinating the Out Door Classroom and Garden here at St Peter Interparish School. My students and I spend time in the garden in warm weather reading and planting seeds and caring for God's beautiful Earth. |
| Favorite movies | My favorite movie is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. It has become a yearly tradition with my family to watch it as part of our Christmas celebration. |
| Favorite music | I am also certified to teach Elementary Music. I taught K-8 music at IC here in Jefferson City for 15 years. I continue play the organ and piano for Liturgies at IC. I like a variety of different music from Bach to classic rock. |
