Introduction	Seven Sisters Permaculture is the name I use when I'm doing permaculture. I live in one of the villages that the megalopolis swallowed, and have worked for quite a diverse bunch of environmental and community campaigning organisations: on transport and urban planning, volunteering, new economics, diversity and equality, peace and permaculture. I grew up with merino sheep in the wandoo, jarrah and marri forest belt on the 3.9bn year old granite and ironstone plateau of the Yilgarn craton, with a spell on Manus Island north of New Guinea. I garden, commit art and crafts, particularly knit/crochet, swim, and try to find time to be lazy. Pets include a compost wormery, backyard birds and frogs. I like the idea of cyberspace -- just have to force myself to spend the time sitting at screen when I could be out gardening or swimming or having a life.
