Introduction	Stuart Mackinnon lives at Swartz Bay in North Saanich. He previously lived in Vancouver where he was a parks and natural space advocate for 25 years. Elected as a Park Board Commissioner for 11 years including 3 terms as Chair, he also served as a Trustee of the Vancouver Public Library and as well as a Board member of the VanDusen Botanical Gardens, the Society Promoting Environmental Conservation, and the Wilderness Committee. A graduate of the University of Victoria [BA], Concordia University [B.ED] and University of Phoenix [MA Ed], Stuart was a public school teacher in Vancouver, Surrey, and in the James Bay region of northern Quebec before settling in North Saanich.
