| Introduction | I am a homeschooling mom of three teens and one almost teen. I decided to call my blog Saved by Suspense because I truly feel like reading saves my sanity in the busy bustle of feeding, chauffeuring, and teaching my kids while trying to keep things sparky with my husband and coping with the loss of my dad to his battle with Alzheimer's. I have a degree in psychology and spent 18 years as substance abuse counselor. Currently, I volunteer with a military organization to teach substance abuse prevention classes. I really enjoy being busy and hanging out with my family, but cozying up with a good suspense novel after everyone else is in bed...that keeps me sane! |
