| Introduction | There are a lot of sewing related things going on in my world. I enjoy reading about sewing, collecting and fixing sewing machines, shopping for fabric, talking about almost any sewing topic, taking classes, and visiting the spaces where other people have created their sewing havens. Over the years, I have used a sewing machine for quilting, refashioning clothes, reupholstering chairs, making my own clothes, and currently there is an assortment of them trying to balance the feng shui in my house. Sewing Machines and Sew Forth will house a collection of stories, snippets, narratives, and reflections on any sewing topic that suits my fancy. It will look at things that keep me passionate about sewing machines and sewing. |
