| Introduction | This blog was started for my out of town family and friends after deleting my facebook(I have since gotten it back). I never thought I would blog, but I gladly share my thoughts (typos and all) to hopefully serve as an encourager to friends, family and to whoever else stumbles upon this. To many who have asked about the name Riding on a Buffalo... There is a saying from a story about my grandmother that went something like, "Beverly Joe Broke her toe Riding on a buffalo on the way to Mexico.." after my grandmother went on a train to New Mexico when she was 5. I wanted to somehow name the blog in her honor, so Riding on a Buffalo was what I picked. She is one of the strongest, most wonderful women I know and I am honored to know her. Most importantly, she is filled with God's loving spirit and has lived her life according to His Word and will. Like her, I want others to know about my great God who has never failed me. I want others to know that God loves them, and is the real answer to life, love and hope. I pray that if you read this, that you are simply encouraged and know how loved you are. |
