| Introduction | Hi and welcome to my revamped blog! I decided to start writing again to document my adventures following my decision to move to China to teach English in December 2010. A little bit about me: I am a 2005 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a BA in Political Science. I am a few credits shy of finishing my MA in International Studies, also at USC Columbia. Growing up on the South Carolina coast, I'm a bit of a beach bum at heart. Both sides of my family have roots in this state going back to the eighteenth century. I can almost literally feel the difference in my bones when I cross the state line. Going out, the world isn't quite right. Coming back, it's like I never left. My interests and hobbies include: World Politics and Diplomacy, History, Geography, World Royalty, Vexillology (the study of flags), gay rights, heraldry, golf, and tennis. |
