| Introduction | The song is never just about the lyrics, even though on the surface it seems like that might be all that's there. If you listen enough times, though, the lyrics speak to you, the music runs like the beat of your heart and the fire in your veins. That's my life--most people would only see the chronic diseases, and some never look past them to the person I am. But there's more substance to me than my lyrics.
