| Introduction | I've written my thoughts (THOTS) down since I was 7 but not in such a revealing fashion. This is a bit like being on a nude calender of grandmas. (Remember that movie?) So this is me; A Nebraska Mom, grandma and married to a very dear man. I'm mother to three grown children, a self-adopted Mom to several more and Nana to three awesome grandchildren along with five more that I've heart adopted. I was raised in a mixed family with a 'colorful' history. Guess there's more 'about me' but think I'll let this blog space continue my reflections or rather, THOTS, on who I think I am and provide a format for some of my poetry, short stories, memories and experiences, and a place to hang my thinking hat. Sounds cowboyish? Yea, living in farm country will do that to ya. |
| Interests | Improve my life path, reading, motorcycle riding, traveling, all Native American history and literature, most history, and family get togethers! |
| Favorite movies | Mask, Dances With Wolves (Wind In His Hair/Rodney Grant was a friend of the family before his 'fame'), All Star War movies as well as the Harry Potter flicks, and the Harrison Ford Series. As of 2010, I'd like to add Avatar (and it must be seen in 3D or IMAX!). |

| Favorite books | The Bible and The People of....series by the Gears and other reads too numerous to list here. Tho I closed out 2009 reading the vampire/wolf series (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn) and must recommend reading the books before seeing the movies as you miss so much of who the characters really are. 2021 finds me engrossed in The Game of Thrones books.
