Introduction	Born in the frozen tundra of Maine. Moved to the humid wonderland that is Iowa City, IA. Raised by two ex-hippy intelligentsia.Spent a year in a suburb of Paris with a wonderful French family. Got myself a French degree, had jobs as a paperboy, cab driver, carpenter, school teacher, dishwasher, cook, paramedic. Now, I am an ultrarunning fool whose day job is shepherding people through the trials and tribulations of anesthesia. Married to dear Erica and I have two wonderful chi-hua-huas, one of whom is half wiener but all man.
