| Introduction | I am a 42-year-old married mother of three children. According to the political ideology quiz, I am a steadfast conservative along with 12% of the rest of the population. The only political figures I have respect for are Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush. I do not have much political experience....I avoid politics as much as possible. I am taking this class because it is required, but I am also interested in it. I took US Govt earlier this summer and enjoyed it a lot (to my surprise :) ). I hope to learn more about how Texas operates and to become more familiar with the political figures in our great state. I did poorly on both the General Knowledge and Political Knowledge quiz. I hope to learn something/anything in this class to help me be more informed and "plugged in." |

Your people want to make a statue in your honor. What will it be made out of and what victory will it commemorate?
My kids say my statue would be made out of a pumpkin roll because they say I make the most delicious pumpkin roll ever (humble brag).
