Introduction	Hi, my name is Genesis Peña. I am a full-time student at Parsons The New School for Design, pursuing a BFA in Fashion Design. I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic but now reside in New York City. I am interested in women’s evening wear and inspired by random objects or random moments in life as well as antique looks/styles and nature. My favorite designers (well some of my favorite designers) are Oscar De La Renta, Elie Saab, Chanel, Alexander McQueen... just to name a few! This is a blog about how my everyday surroundings inspire my fashion design work. Inspiration is all around us; we just have to learn how to look and observe. Currently, I am new to the blog world but I am eager to learn quickly. Hope you all enjoy it!
