| Introduction | I have a PhD in organic chemistry, and have, at various times, worked in the fields of organic synthesis, natural products isolation, and protein and peptide synthesis. Cm is the element Curium, atomic number 96, named after Marie Curie Skłodowska. CmCl3 can be called curium trichloride, but the trivial name - curious chloride - is so much more fun! |
