Introduction I am a Dagmar Dane and proud of it! I grew up on a farm in northeastern Montana in the Danish community of Dagmar. I earned a BA in Spanish and Russian with a K-12 library endorsement from the University of Montana in Missoula, and a Master's in Library and Information Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Before earning my master's, I worked at MSU Libraries in Bozeman, Montana, for 11 years. I was a Catalog Librarian at Olin Library at Washington University in St. Louis before moving to North Dakota and taking a job at the State Library. On August 16, 1993, I became the Technical Services Librarian at Bismarck State College. In 2002, I was named Director of Library Services at BSC.
