| Introduction | Charlene (“Cat”) Therien has been working with polymer clay since 2001. She is interested in a variety of handicrafts, and enjoys incorporating polymer clay designs into wearable art, home decor, and gifts. She owns and operates C. A. Therien Polymer Clay Arts, an art company with three divisions. Charlene lives with her husband and business partner, Allen. They have been married 27 years and currently reside in Peoria, Illinois. Together they have raised 6 children - 5 boys and 1 girl - all of whom are now grown adults. The three oldest children are married. They also have a skittish 11-year-old rescue cat named Joe, a grumpy green iguana named Iguanadude (you have to say it like a surfer, stretching out the duuuuude !), and a tank full of freshwater fish - all named Bob. |
