| Introduction | The Bates family is comprised of Donovan, Mischa and Malik. Donovan and Mischa started the family in August 2004 and little Malik joined us in June of 2009. We have recently relocated to Las Vegas Nevada, where we are enjoying the warm weather! |
| Interests | We both love to travel, go to movies, go to concerts, and we love eating good food (although that is a little hard for me nowadays)! Donovan loves video games and almost anything related to technology and cars! I love to read, exercise, play with makeup, and watch Judge Judy :) |
| Favorite movies | Donovan's favorite movies include "Die Hard", "V for Vendetta" and "Sunshine". Mischa's favorites include "Girls Just Want to Have Fun", "Love Actually", and "Old School" |
| Favorite music | Donovan loves to listen to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, and anything by David Bowie. Mischa is into Pete Yorn and Rilo Kiley. And yes, she still loves Britney Spears! |
| Favorite books | Donovan thinks that reading is a waste of time, so he doesn't have any favorite books. He will read just about any car magazine though! Mischa is an avid reader and she plans on reviewing books that she reads and posting them to this blog! The book that has stuck with her most over the years is "A Man's Search for Meaning", by Victor Frankl. |
