| Introduction | Update, Dec. 2014: we moved to Charlotte, which has been so happy for us. But I took an unanticipated blog hiatus, and I haven't felt inspired to write here again yet. I'll leave the door open, and we'll see what the future holds. Jon and I met in TN in 1998, married in 2001, and had Baby Kate in June 2009. We're dog lovers: we enjoyed 12 years with Rocky until June 2012, we fostered sweet Emily for a few months in 2012, and we still have our adorable cuddle-bug Hershey, who's 13. We're always up for a new adventure, and we tend to do them big - like moving across the country, or building a house while I was baking a baby. But we're suckers for a challenge, and God always provides. Sometimes what He provides is something we cry about now and laugh about 2 years later. Actually, now that I think about it, that happens quite a bit. Good thing those years pass quickly! |
