| Introduction | So I'm off to be a field base medic as part of a scheme called international civil service, a joint venture organised by raliegh international and VSO. Becoming a doctor has been a lifetime ambition and a solo endeavour with a million ups and downs, but the tears have been worth it, and those of you who have supported me along the way - I am externally grateful to you. I hope that I am repaying you back with dedication to the job. Working abroad as a medic is the next step in my journey, working with MSF is the current end goal but for those of you who know me, know that my end goals change on a daily. Anyway, public health, health promotion, emergency care and female health are my fav topics, and to beable to explore these in a tropical setting makes me go eeeeeeeeeee (like a happy kid). I hope that you enjoy this blog, I will aim to update it twice a week - keeping it real and hopefully get some pictures up :) Woooop |
| Interests | As an aside If anyone has space to store my belongings for dollar over the three months email me (I realise that jan is poor month so if anyone needs money up front and has the space let me know, I'd rather help mates than give my hard earned dollar to BIG YELLOW) and if anyone wants to put me up when I'm back in April for Indian treats, a play with my stepthoscope and some home made curry (cos I will be an amazing cook by the time I'm back) email me too. Sofa, floor or room to rent :) |
