Introduction	This Blog's goal is to keep you in the loop about Community Development Department activity in the City of Monrovia. Written by the City's Planning Division Staff (with an occasional guest blogger), we try our best to shake the government seriousness from our fingertips before we sit down and write each post. Although serving as a reliable source of information is our highest priority, trying to be fun and lighthearted along the way is a close second.
Interests	Blogging, having conversations at the Community Development counter (as well as eavesdropping on them)
Favorite movies	From modern flicks to Hollywood's Golden Age our tastes span the decades. Keep following us and you'll see what effect a Netflix (and now Amazon) movie subscription has on bloggers. While not typically movies, we're also hooked on the KGEM series' Monrovia City Council, and the Monrovia Planning Commission.
Favorite music	Yes! We like music, from classical to contemporary...and Ella! However if you want to see our dancin' feet you'll need to provide us with a beat (and plenty of people on the dance floor so that we can blend in).
Favorite books	Monrovia's Municipal Code, building plans, history books about Monrovia, The Death and Life of Great American Cities, The Image of the City...and the City Manager's Weekly Report to keep us informed.
