| Introduction | I am a native Idahoan who moved east in 2010 to travel & study history. I have multiple degrees in mining engineering and history from the University of Idaho. Worked in both underground and surface precious metal mines and in state government managing the State of Idaho's mineral leasing and mined land reclamation programs. I have published a number of articles on Idaho mining history and won awards for photographs from the International California Mining Journal and the Civil War Trust. I have contributed articles for the Brigades of Antietam, The Commanders of Antietam and the Antietam Journal, publications of the Antietam Institute. In December 2023 I published "An Ornament to His Country" the Life and Military Career of Benjamin Franklin Davis. I have been volunteering at Antietam National Battlefield since 2010 and have been a NPS certified guide there since 2014. |
