Introduction	First, and most importantly, I am sinner saved by grace, seeking God's will in everything I do. I am also a wife, homeschooling mom of three and begrudgingly accepting that I am...a dog person, after welcoming our first indoor dog. This blog may be a first...a blog about real life, and real food all cooked up in our double-wide. Nine years ago, as we were packing up to move from our house in town to the country, my husband and I were discussing what kind of house to build or if we should rent something. We were packing up our 6 yr old son's room when I burst out in tears thinking about him and how he won't care what kind of house we live in..only that we are all together as much as possible. His daddy having to work long hard hours just so we could have a fancy house was not what we longed for. We just needed a roof over our heads. So, we bought a brand new double wide. There won't be any amazing food photos here, or expensive kitchen tools and gadgets, but hopefully some can find a few recipes they would like to try and see a glimse into a laid back, country, trailer-house lifestyle!
