Introduction	Hello. I am Robert Black. I am a retired Soldier who served in the Army for 28 years. I am a family man. My wife and I have been married 33 years. I have two daughters, two sons-in-law and eight grandchildren. I am very grateful for all of them. For the past several years I have engaged in a self study of the United States political system. My primary focus has been on the Constitution and also on the political parties. That study has given rise to the creation of the Declaration of Independents and to create this blog. I hope you will enjoy the postings. I have done my best to ensure they are well thought out and well written. I welcome your comments.
