| Introduction | Someone recently asked, "Who is this Dave person we hear so much about on your blog?" Dave, is the other half of Grizzly Mountain Arts. He is retired from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service where he served as Refuge Manager on several of the largest wildlife refuges in the nation. In retirement, he has become well known in the fiber art world as a maker of handcrafted wooden tools, especially tatting shuttles which are used in lace making. Jo, is the person that takes the photos and maintains the website. She also likes to work with many mediums including clay, wood and rock. Also a classically trained flautist, Jo has performed with local chamber music groups and orchestras. |
