| Interests | My writing is focused on the construction of identity. My Creative Writing PhD focuses on self-design in post-punk music. Its research component incorporates Butler’s theory of performativity and Greenblatt’s ideas on self-fashioning. Other research interests of mine include Benjamin’s theories of the modern metropolis, Baudelaire’s ideas of flaneurism, Foucault’s ideas on power and psycho geography. |
